Hi @All, I have quick question, I am about to file my citizenship application for myself and my 4 year old daughter. There is question which is little confusing for me so could you please help on this.

Has the minor been outside of Canada for a total of 730 days or more (2 years or more) in the past five (5) years or since becoming a permanent resident?

Should I say "YES" or "NO". Below are her detail
DOB - 10.10.2020
Obtained PR - 31.03.2022( She is in Canada since 2021)

Why the confusion ? Count the days yourself. You didn't specify the entry/exits from Canada since she came in 2021, so we can't answer.
And with the information you gave, for a baby born in october 2020 and wo came here in 2021, it would be in all cases significantly less than 730 if she arrived here in december 2021, so, "NO" would be the answer you want, regardless of whether you consider the 5 years, or the date she became a PR. Trust yourself in being able to answer simple questions.

She born in India in Oct 2020 and came to Canada on visitor visa in Sep 2021. She got PR on Mar 15th 2022 and still in canada.
My confusion is do I count the days she became PR? or the time from last 5 years even though she was born in 2020(4 yrs back)

Well, she was only outside Canada between the day she was born and the day she arrived here, which is less than 730 days. You obviously shouldn't consider the days before she was born for this question. So answer "NO" (which would be the same answer regardless of whether you consider PR or 5 years!) and move on to the next question.
