Visiting Canada

Hi, I want to ask if it's good for my gf to visit Canada right now despite of the immigration issue that has been going on in the country. She is a Japanese citizen and she'll be visiting me during the Holidays this December for 10 days. For the background, she is a teacher and also rents an apartment in Japan; She has also been visiting Canada for 5 times with 12-month gap between visits. I'm very concerned because I have been overhearing from people that there's an increase of denials of tourists because Canada has gotten stricter.

She's Japanese, so she only needs an ETA to visit. No requirement for visitor visa.

Not a issue at all, let her apply ETA, have your address and phone number and some funds (incase officer ask at arrival) and enjoy her stay!

There shouldn’t be any issues for genuine visitors with strong ties showing they will return to their home countries and a good travel history.
