I recently submitted my profile to Express Entry, and it turns out I meet the requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker class. I was originally aiming to be invited under the Canadian Experience Class (French stream) only.

Does this mean I now have to show proof of funds when I receive the ITA?

I have an open work permit and have been employed in Canada for over a year under a permanent full-time contract but I don't have an LMIA, as it wasn't required. There's conflicting information online, but I don't think I have a "valid job offer."

Thank you

If you are eligible for CEC and the draw of your ITA includes CEC, you can change the funds to 0 and get rid of the proof when you apply.

No, you don't
