Hi there folks!
I wish to bring both my wife and parents here for a visitor visa, is it possible to apply for them to apply together?
What set of documents would help if they indeed can?

Thanks in advance!

Well they would not be applying together. Parents are separate from daughter. What is your status in Canada? They each show their own funds, ties to return, travel history and valid reasons to travel.

Oh is it? Thanks for replying. Is seeing her husband for a while a good reason for a TRV for my wife? If not, what could help her please?

I'm a PR, although I landed for the second time recently after staying away 2+ years. I landed the first time as a new comer and had to go back for a personal reason after staying only for 2 weeks.

have you started the sponsorship process for your spouse if you met RO? May be faster to wait.

As for her parents they are coming as tourists so show their own funds (need cash in the bank to support visit but not use all their savings), ties to return (both show job letters with approved leave, children under 22, income property, business in their names), and travel history to the US, UK, NZ or AUS.

If you have not started sponsorship process, her TRV approval is more difficult. She has no family ties to return to so needs to show her own funds, ties to return like her parents and travel history.

…and it’ll appear like the parents are moving with her
You just spent the last two years with them , you’re now coming back after an extremely short stay in Canada, and want to have them come with her

Got it, thank you, so what do I do please?
Start an 'outland' sponsorship application and then in parallel apply for a TRV for her?
Or apply for a TRV first and then start an 'inland' sponsorship application?

Personal preference. Your spouse needs to be aware that her parents can’t move to Canada unless they eventually get selected for PGP but that could take 10+ years. They can attempt to visit.

Sorry just to be clear, it's my parents not hers.

I meant to ask which ones is a better path in terms of her coming here soon and the process being smooth. Thanks.

It is personal preference based on what works best for your family. There are no perfect plans. Would apply for the TRV after AOR if applying Outland. TRVs for spouses are also not guaranteed although easier to obtain than they used to be. Parents in general can’t move to Canada with the children unless they have obtained PR which can be a long and difficult process with no guarantees.

Okay I hope she can still convince the visa officer for a TRV after her outland sponsorship process begins :|
