Application past 8 months but no test invite yet, background passed

Hello friends,
So i got my AOR in April and background was cleared in May.
Since then tnere has been zero movement in the application. I have not been invited to take the citizenship test. There ia no security screening and i even got cic notes and they were good.
A couple of ATIP notes shows the application in transit to Scarborough office and it has been like that for a couple of months.
Called MP but nothing.
Called IRCC and they said they do not know what is going on and they send a note to the officer (a month ago) but again no movement.


What is my best course of action here? I was thinking of withdrawal and resubmission but am open to suggestions.

Unless you applied with a very minimal buffer, have forgotten some travels and aren't sure you're actually above the 1095 days threshold, you really have no guarantee a withdrawal gets you faster to the finish line. Whatever you do, and I can't tell you what to do really, starting from scratch is absolutely a desperation measure, and at "only" 8 months of processing with BG already cleared (and BG is usually, with physical presence, one of the two main hurdles that can drag an application), desperation is probably premature at the moment.

So i called IRCC again and they said that they put a note on the file for the office to escelate. I told him that i haven't even received the TEST invite and he was like maybe the officer went on leave.
