Hi ! Let me get straight to the point, my PGWP will expire on 2026 September. Didn’t find job for a whole year in Toronto and now moved to Winnipeg with a delivery associate job and it’s been a month. I don’t know what will happen but after the new changes PNP will be very difficult to get in Manitoba.

What is the best course of action for me to get PR ? Specially when I have less than two years left.

I heard back in September there will be a new federal program for teer 4 and 5 workers, how accurate is that or it’s been discontinued?

are there any realistic chances of me getting PR for me at this point? I’m 26, with diploma. My points are extremely low and I’m scared of my future.

Best course of action is to find ways to increase your points and to find a higher teer job.

Do you know French? If not, start learning immediately. This will open up more options.

What other options without learning French ?
We don't know your full profile so hard to say. However as said earlier, strongly recommended that you find a new job that is teer 0, 1, 2, or 3.

You really should consider learning French. Ultimately it's your choice of course and comes down to how badly you want PR.

I really need PR. I got diploma in hospitality and tourism. I’ve looked for jobs in Toronto 8 months but no luck. It’s hard to land a job and I’m 26 and single. I got 7.5 in IELTS academic. Learning French is hard I’m don’t know what are my options.
I heard there will be a new program for teer 4 and 5 workers, is that still a possibility?

A new federal program for teer 4 and 5 workers? I highly doubt it given the recent announcements of cuts to the targets. I'm not aware of that. Can you provide a link on the IRCC web site where this is mentioned?

Here's the tough love message. If you really want PR, start learning French now. Yes, it's hard. But many have done it. If you're not willing to do it, others will and they will score more points than you. Also keep looking for higher teer jobs.

IELTS academic is not accepted for PR applications. You need to take general and score as high as you can.
