I applied my PR in Quebec in August 2021 and I have CSQ as well whenever i call immigration they said file is complete everything is passed just delay due to quebec quota.

my question is:

1) We are finally moving from quebec when i will update my new residence address with immigration for other province QUEBEC quota condition will be removed automatically

Or I have to do additional steps to be considered out of quebec applicant?

2) how long will it take to change of address in IRCC system?

3) should i provide my lease as well or just address update would be enough?

4) Should I expect sooner decision as I will not be in Quebec anymore as only thing which is delaying my decision is Quebec Quota?

please advise.

Thanks

I'm not sure there is going to be a clear answer to this question because there aren't a lot of people who have done this. Based on experiences on this forum, it seems that IRCC sometimes moves the application and sometimes doesn't. Also, based on experiences on this forum, it appears it can take a number of months for the change to be registered.

I would provide your lease to IRCC.

Good luck and let us know what happens.

Thanks alot @scylla @canuck78 for response what should i expect if i submit address change as on ircc website it says 5 business days but as you said number of months if this is the case how long it could be?

Any suggestions on changing address how to do it properly to avoid any further delays please. I am really stressed as my case has already around 3 years because of Quebec quota. Please help how to solve this issue please.

THANKS AGAIN

There is no way to avoid delays or to guarantee you will be processed outside Quebec at this point. Really up to IRCC how they choose to address your case.

Once you update your address online, call IRCC to update the new address and request to move file to the new province, call them again and again unless u gets a confirmation from that they have moved your file according to the provided address (Thats what i got to know from someone who have done this previously)

You must go to service Québec and cancel your CSQ. After that change your address and send the CSQ cancelation proof to the IRCC
