Student medical examination

Hi,
I was an international student. I applied for asylum and got my aor. But didn't get any medical appointment. Some people saying i don't need to do medical examination cz I just came here. I came here in April and claimed on late October. I am really confused. Is it normal.

You just claimed asylum. This is a very long process. There is also going to be significant scrutiny of international students who are often abusing the asylum system so I hope you have significant proof that you were personally persecuted. Given your arrival in Canada in the past 6 months where it’s unclear if you actually studied or qualified for access to provincial healthcare there is a good chance you will need to complete a medical.

I really understand. I talked to u before on a thread. I am from Bangladesh and I know many people are abusing the system and really scared what's gonna happen with my application. I don't know what to do about the medical now. I hope I find a way. Thank u for sharing ur concern.

all you can do and wait for a request if you get one. If your medical is still less than a year old then you may not have to do one.
