I worked as a medical assistant (33109) for 24 hours per week for a year and nine months, which is almost 1,870 hours. Now, I am currently working as a full-time cook (63200) due to the circumstances. Now, I am wondering if I can get additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for working in Canada for two years. Do I need to work at least a year at the new cook position to get two years' experience worth of points? Or do I just need to work for (1,560 * 2 - 1,870) 1,250 hours, which is about nine and a half months, to get it? Also, for the work experience in the last three years part, is it based on the date of employment, resignation, or six months before the resignation?
