Ok so my mom when she came to Canada in 2016 had applied for refugee and gotten rejected. She had later applied for a common law case through which she got her pr and I got mine too. When she applied for her refugee case I was still a minor so I was a dependant persons(I think??) but her refugee case had gotten refused and I got my Pr through FCC which is the common spouse case. I’m about to renew my Indian passport and thinking of visiting india amidst the political tension. I’m wondering is this ok since my mom had applied for refugee when she first came here but it got refused so I think the government already knows that’s not valid moreover I was a dependable persons when this happened. Is it safe for me to go back to india without getting in legal trouble.
1.will it cause problems with CBSA when I return at the airport
2.Will it cause problems for my citizenship application in the future
3. I’ve only had my pr for like 1 year if that matters

If you got PR through your mother's spousal sponsorship / common law sponsorship, there is no issue returning to your home country.
