Not generally true. There may be some specific cases where it's relevant and meaningful, but NOT for most where the medical is done rather early in the process (where all it means is that the medical is done).

In my case im done with biometrics and medical.. it means background checking is not yet done?
Thank you. Patiently waiting for next update from IRCC

Hi how long is bcakground checking?
they said spousal sponsorship takes 10
Months, in my case my application is 10
Months now on Oct 7.
I'd suggest you read other threads here. The 10 months total is an estimate. Many applications take less than 10 months, some (perhaps 20%) go over 10 months, a small percentage take considerably longer. My rule of thumb right now might be that going to ~12-13 months may not be a serious problem, beyond ~15 months puts it in rare category.

You can order gcms notes (google or search here), write your MP, or call IRCC. None of these are likely to speed things up, but occasionally can provide info on what the issue might be (and rarely help one solve it).

My guess is that most that go seriously over have either a) problems that might lead to refusal or b) security issues. Security can be related to country of origin, but very hard to say how long it can take to get resolved.

Na ah! It's been 1 week since biometrics and medical done.. Praying not to take so long and no problem in security and background checking.. thank you for replying Godbless
If you only did medical and biometrics last week you are at the early stages of your sponsorship. There must be more to this application. Where are you both located and your citizenships? Is your spouse a protected person?

The eligibility to sponsor letter came together with biometrics and medical request.
Application pass Dec
Receive AOR january
And then Medical Biometrics and Eligibility October.. my husband is PR in Canada. Im outland sponsorship
Is your spouse compliant with their residency obligation? Did he apply for sponsorship while in Canada and has he remained in Canada? Where do you live and what is your citizenship? There are certain countries that tend to have long processing times. Was this an arranged marriage and how much time have you spent in person? Was this over multiple visits?

He's working in canada as PR. Im from philippines,. We've been together for almost 14 yrs now,. Yes were married in 2013 but no children yet., He passed the eligibility check and a good citizen of Canada.
Not a citizen but a PR. Were you included in his previous applications? Did he apply for PR with your unaccompanying? You would have had to compete a medical.
