I am doctor by profession, i have created my my GCKey profile today and i am single, my score is 389, i am also getting married next month , will this marriage be a barrier in my application process further ? also i want to know that i have applied in alberta separately as well because my sister is permanent resident in alberta, are there any chances for me to be selected ?[/CODE]

That is a very low score. You will add spouse to profile once married as accompanying or non accompanying. As for Alberta, there program has totally changed and is based on a points system. Check the grid and see what your score is but it benefits those educated and working in the province. So now to get nomination, your Alberta score and NOC have to be selected. Having a sister may not be of benefit.

You need to increase your score so max out IELTS and maybe learn French. If you are a doctor then MCC would have completed ECA.
