Should I close my bank account ? Leaving the country cuz my work permit expires

My work permit expires in a few weeks and I am still waiting in the pool. My point is 495 so honestly I don't think I ever have a chance to receive ITA. With such a slim chance of returning to Canada, do you think I should transfer all my money back home and close the account ? Thank you.

You should learn French. This would most likely give you a very good shot at PR even once you've left Canada.

Yes, it would make sense to close your bank account.
