Please advise that I hv no income in Canada. However I am filling ITR in india and paying tax. I hv got PGP PR, and hv no income in Canada, for renewal of PR, shall I hv to file income tax return in Canada being no income from Canada.

Hi,
If you are meeting your PR obligations then I would suggest you Yes, please file your taxes. Even your annual income is zero because it will be helpful for you when you apply for citizenship but if your declared your employment outside of canada and you are earning more than the lower threshold then you have to pay the taxes here.
I would suggest you to please check your Ties for Deemed and non deemed resident of Canada then apply for PR renewal.

Hi guys, I want to make sure if I have stayed in Canada for 2years during last 5 years, is it still possible they don't accept the PR renewal application? I have heard even if you have resided 2 years they are strict for giving PR Renewal.
I would appreciate any experience.

No that's not true if you fill their 2 years of residency obligation then you are eligible for PR renewal…
I spent first 3 years outside of Canada out of 5 years and recently I renewed my PR.

Thanks for sharing your experience. for PR Renewal they dont ask why you just stayed 2 years and not more? or Why dont you have a job yet?

No, they don't ask about anything but you have to provide them last 5 years tax returns.
