Hello All,
Need your guidance on below questions for uk visit visa on RTD ( No pr)

- Is it advisable to apply for 2 years uk visit visa instead of 6 months ? Will they really rejects visit visa applications on RTD ?

- I am applying from montreal and they are asking for additional fees 280 USD ( VFS FEES) which is approx 400 cad. Is it normal , shocking for me. Only Toronto has no vfs fees.

- Next step is national identification details, do we have to fill this Yes or No ?

- Nationality: So here i have to mention stateless? Then have to select country of Birth right ?
@Here4help thanks, could you please guide on above as well

Hello, I completed the UK application online and it took me to the documents page where one of the mandatory documents box to tick is to provide passport or travel document from my country of nationality but I am applying with my RTD. Should I tick the box and continue?
You are still a national of your country of birth unless your citizenship has been rescinded, so for this questions I put my country of nationality's name, birth place etc. and then in passport details I gave my RTD passport details.

I also put my country of birth/nationality details in the other nationalities question.

- No one can guarantee if they will give you the 2year visa not even the VFS, unfortunately its a risk you will have to consider if you apply for the 2yrs

- I paid $151 for standard processing in toronto 6 month visa

- there are only questions about your nationality and your national identity card. for your nationality you should put the information of the nationality you had when applying for asylum in canada (and any other nationalities). For the ID Card say yes if you have one, and provide the details. No if you dont.

- As per my understanding you are still a national of your country of birth unless your citizenship has been rescinded, so for this questions I put my country of nationality's name, birth place etc. and then in passport details I gave my RTD passport details.

I also put my country of birth/nationality details in the other nationalities question.
