IEC Dual Citizen question

Hi everybody,
My son went on a working holiday visa to Canada last year using his Australian passport and didnt realise that he would need to keep his insurance up in order to keep his visa. Sadly he now wants to go back for another snow season but the visa has expired.
He is waiting for his renewed UK passport to arrive and I’m fairly sure he can reapply through that.
my question is … He hasn’t lived in the UK since he was 5 years old and now in his early 20s will he be expected to submit a police clearance for the UK and if so how would he go about doing that with out an address having never lived there as an adult. Just wondering if anybody else has had to deal with this situation?

We don't see a lot of IEC posts here. I don't know how he would go about applying for the UK police clearance. He may want to look at other sites such as reddit for answers.

Note that there are extremely few spots remaining for 2024 for the UK. Most likely he won't receive an invite until the program reopens next year. Factoring in submission and processing times, there's a good chance he won't get the visa approved until this ski season is almost over or over.
