Main applicant all completed , dependent eligibility not started

Hi Guys
My and my wife's bg check is completed by last week . I am the main applicant and my wife's eligibility shows not started yet on tracker. When I contacted with MP they told me that my wife's eligibility is Completed/Passed. Is this normal . I am looking forward to hearing back from you .

Hello I am kind of in the same situation. I just got a ghost update this morning in my tracker. Now it is showing eligibility as completed for the principal applicant (PA) but not started for the dependent. Is it safe to assume that they are done with thee eligibility part for both since, their focus is more on the PA. We did claim a few points for dependent's education and work experience. Background is still in progress for both since September 27. However, few people got their eCOPRs with the dependent's eligibility showing as not started. I just hope we are close. Any insight is appreciated. Also, tracker is showing that they received information on October 10 and will let us know if they need anything else. But we didn't send them anything else. Is this normal?

Dependent eligibility will always shows not started. There is no seperate eligibility check for dependants.

Thanks for the response. Good to know. So is it safe to assume that we passed the eligibility and the only thing left is background check?

Yes.
Even I had this message"tracker is showing that they received information" So it's normal.

Does it show a date in front of the FD? I got to know to know from another thread, that if it shows this message : "they received information", they usually has a date with the FD on GCkey as well.

Yes after that message in tracker i got final decison in couple of days.

I had another update over the weekend. Background for both PA and dependent got completed as of October 11. However, I received this GU on October 14 (Thanksgiving Day). Now everything is showing as complete. But in tracker there is still no COPR number generated. Any idea what it means? Can I expect some positive news soon? Really stressing over it. :/
