Hi All,
Need advice on this matter from fellow forum members. I am Canadian Permanent resident since June 21 and should be able to complete the physical presence requirement for Canadian Citizenship application by mid-December 2024. I have been frequently traveling to United States since the last year or so (average of 2 trips per month) for internal company meetings and discussions. During one of my recent trips, I was questioned by the US Immigration officer at the Pearson airport as to why I have been traveling to United States so frequently. He further told me my B1 visa could be cancelled if I continue to travel like this. So I have a hypothetical question--Lets say my US B1 Visa is cancelled, Will this cancellation create any complication for my Canadian citizenship application? By complication I mean for e.g. could this make me ineligible for Canadian citizenship or lead to any other adverse impact. Please confirm.
