Hello, I created this thread for applicants who have review required on eligibility so that we will have an idea as to how long it will take to get a decision from the review required status. Mine has been tagged as eligibility review required since November 2021 and was transferred to Montreal VO. No updates since then. My AOR August 15, 2021.

My file is also under review required from same time no response

AOR OCT 4. EL tagged RR in NOV 2021. No updates on file. Medical expired. The last note on my file reads "The file is in queue for the officer review and will be processed in the date order received". I don’t which date order it is because? lol
I also heard from someone in the system that about 400k files were tagged RR between 2020-2021 for all programs (incl. WP, BOWP, PR, TR2PR) and were locked out of the system. Which means these files aren’t visible in the normal processing chain, and are in for a long wait! The persons estimate in my case was about 1-1.5 year(s) more. Not sure if that’s how it is? It’s really frustrating!

Omg that’s why they’re giving out 2 years of bowp nowadays. I got a 2 year bowp valid til 2024 hopefully my file gets finalized before the wp expires so I don’t have to pay for another wp extension. This is unbelievable!

Hopefully they’ll start processing our files. The BOWP until 2024 is a temporary policy to accommodate people due to the backlog. Everyone is supposed to get a BOWP valid until 2024 regardless of RR. When did you apply and get BOWP? I applied in May 2022 and haven’t received it yet.

Ohh that’s bad but am glad you applied again I got a RR . How long did it take for them to get back to you after that RR ? What was the reason for RR ?
Hopefully I get a response soon the waiting is unhealthy

I actually only got to know about the RR only in the gcms notes received around the 5 month mark. I sent the missing stuff but it was still a bit incomplete and messy. It was to do with my employer letters. Then got refusal at 7 months.

I haven’t received mine yet I got RR only found out after I called ircc agent and they mentioned to me so am just waiting it’s not fun
