Hello, I'm a Canadian PR and looking to have my parents over in next summer. They currently have a Canadian visitor visa but that is set to expire in May 2025
They're looking to travel in Jun/July 2025. Can they apply for the visitor visa now? Or do they need to wait for the current visa to expire?
The problem is the wait time. Since it is easily taking 2-3 months for applications to be processed, if they apply around end of May next year, they may not get it by June/July. Please advice.
