Hey Guys, I heard that if you get this update on tracker
Background verification status has been updated to In progress

This defiantly means 'Comprehensive Security Screening' !!!
is that correct ?
Timeline as below :
FSW inland (Transportation category)
PVO : Ottawa
SVO : Sydney
AOR :28/04
According to IRCC call center agent :
Eligibility : Passed
Criminality : Passed
Info sharing : Completed
Security : in progress
ADR's through out the process :
1-Additional family information (Even though I am single applicant)
2-Updated Passport: Since the one on file had less than 6 months validity on it
3- Military service Records: (Even though I have never served military in my life )
4-Schedule A
anyone with the same time line and same situation ?

On October 7th I received this update. But turns out I’m not in any type of extra checks phew

Yeah just a heads up to everyone that this update doesn’t necessarily means enhanced screening. At least for inland applications

btw, are you inland or outland, and where are you from, I saw that most people who get stuck in security , are mostly from china, india or Pakistan

The main applicant is. The dependent is not. The dependent is from a friendly country so maybe there was a check and it passed quickly, but that’s just guessing. The dependent is the one that received the in progress status update. Oh and it’s inland
