You don’t have to show that date when you moved to Canada. They have access to those records. You have to mention all trips you took outside Canada and from your home country.

Dear all & @ Misbee,

I am in a tight dilemma don't know what to do. On September 20, 2024, I attempted to submit a webform requesting my Temporary File Number (TFN). Unfortunately, due to a technical error, the webform submission was marked as "file not submitted" on the website. However, I received an automated email confirmation acknowledging the receipt of my IRCC Web Form. Given the conflicting messages, I decided to submit another webform on September 21, 2024, for the same purpose. This submission went through successfully, and I immediately received an automated response confirming receipt.

On October 4, 2024, I received an email from IRCC containing TFN XEPxxxxxxxx for the webform submitted on September 21, 2024, from Agent #5883. Subsequently, on October 5, 2024, I received another email from IRCC with TFN XEPxxxxxxxx for the webform submitted on September 20, 2024, from Agent #5843.

In this situation what will be the best solution to resolve this multiple TFN issued by IRCC. Please help. TIA.

If they issued you multiple TFN , don’t worry about it as your application is still in R10 completeness check stage. They can still change your application number to new number. For better view what’s going on you can call them and ask which application number is latest and final and can submit webform again with it .

"If that is your only travel history, use the date of your first arrival in Canada as the start date and the date you would submit your application as the end date. I hope this helps!

Hi @Miss bee, hope you're doing well. I applied for PR Non-EE PNP last week of July 2024 and expect AOR in Nov - Dec 2024. I recently checked the following page: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html and found that the medical exam policy extended till October 2029. Do you think it's recommended to give the medical exam when I receive the notification or can I give medical exam now and update IRCC with IME though webform ? I'm hoping give medical before will fasten my process of getting PR. Thanks!

I already received a confirmation of nomination via MPNP but it states that it’s not valid for express entry. Is it better for me to refuse the nomination and apply again for the enhanced pnp or is it too late? I am eligible for express entry. Is there a way that the confirmation of nomination be change to express entry?
You can't change the nomination to Express Entry. The nomination is for a non-EE stream.

Hello everyone,

Happy weekend :)

Could someone help answer my questions below?
  1. I submitted my Non-EE PR application on 6/25 and await an Acknowledge of Receipt (AOR). IRCC requested my agent to re-submit a Physically Signed Use of Representative Form Only on 8/16, and I wonder if that means they had opened my application? If not, what can we derive from that?
  2. I saw applicants requesting Temporary File Number (TFN) while waiting for AOR. How does TFN help the AOR receive process?
Thank you for your insights in advance!

Yes they have opened your application and doing R10 Completeness check . This temporary number only means that your file was received and picked up by the IRCC to evaluate if it error free or not. First acknowledgment (AOR1) or removal of ‘X’ as initial from the file number would mean that your file is accepted by IRCC because it was error free. You can get TFN by calling them or through webform .

Hi @Miss bee and everyone
About the medical exam, in the non EE portal there’s an option to add medical exams. IRCC recently extended the temporary provision on medical exams as long as it’s valid for 5 years. I have not submitted my application yet and still in the process of completing the forms and documents. Am allowed to add my old medical exam now or do I have wait for the medical exam request first around the time I get AOR?

Thanks!

Yes you don’t need to do medical again unless requested by officer . You should include copy of your E- medical sheet in your application. You can use old expired medical again in your application . Include sheet now instead of sending later on .

Hi All,

I have an important question. I filed my non express entry PNP application and I received the portal email where they ask for certain information and ask to reply to the email. I don't know if that is portal 1 or portal 2 email. My concern is with the questions: "Are you currently inside Canada? (Yes/No):"

My work permit expired in march this year and I had to move back to India due to a family emergency and planning to go back when I get the PR. The issue is I do have a TRV visa but I dont have any work permit or study permit or any other status document. I read somewhere that IRCC issues some document for spouse and other dependants of applicants. But I am the main applicant and I had valid status when I applied. I had to move out because of family emergency and also my AOR came late than my work permit expiry.

I would really appreciate if someone can clarify if me not being in Canada will be a major issue or if I can just visit with my TRV to get the PR card or if IRCC will issue me that temporary travel document. Could it be possible that this becomes a blocker in my PR?

Also if you know by when I should expect next email or if this email from IRCC confirms my PR, please let me know. Thanks a lot in advance!
