Work Permit Extension for SOWP.

I would like to know the answer from you guys that my wife's pgwp getting expired this October month, we want to apply it for an extension (to beg some time from IRCC so that in mean time it would get picked up). I am working in a restaurant on SIN, If my wife applied for a work permit extension , am I able to continue to work as usual since I am on a dependent work visa (i.e, sowp) or else even I need to apply for a work permit extension as my wife does ?

What do you mean by beg some time. You are not eligible to extend.

Here Begging some time means the Decision made within three months of time when we apply it(currently the processing time) , therefore, we can wait or points to be dropped down (meanwhile we can meet the crs score). So, here my question is am I also need to apply for work extension with my wife for me to work still the decision to be made.

If you meet the CRS scores now then why do you need to extend….just change status to visitor. You are not eligible for an extension.

They want to put in a fake extension so one can continue to work . Knowing it’s a fake extension
