Family ties - what can we show

Hi Everyone,

my sister is settled in India with husband and family. her other siblings and mother are in Canada.
her husbands entire family lives in same town and they have close family set up.

i am applying for my nieces tourist visa. She hasn't been refused on her own but in the last 2 cases her visa was refused with sister. second one on reconsideration approved for sister but not for her staging that mother may not go back if comes with daughter.
Nieces paternal grandparents have expired. Maternal grandmother lives in Canada.
Other cousins and uncles of niece live in India.

i am planning to attach a family tree and show her close cousins etc. the ones she goes to school with.
also will show that her father will be staying back in india during the trip.

what else i could show for family ties.
niece is minor and is 13 years old. last refusals were 5 years ago.

Close ties are parents and in this case maybe a sibling if they are also a minor not cousins.

her father will stay back.
other than that fathers brother, sisters and extended family are there in india.

Does the father have a TRV? Have they travelled internationally as a family before? What was the reason for a visit and how long do they want to visit? It is a strange time to apply for a child’s TRV given school is now in session.

father doesn’t have TRV for Canada
Sister has trv and visited and returned last year to Canada
They haven’t travelled as a family outside India
The application is to visit us in may during my nieces summer break
It takes 3-4 month of processing so we are applying now

Between the father remaining home and previous short visit there is a decent chance of approval..

i am hearing that now AI is sorting apps and my niece may get auto refused just because she had 2 refusals 5 years ago.

I am breaking my head of whether to file by myself or go with a immigration lawyer to avoid any mental regrets.

do you have any suggestions on how best i should format my cover letter to highlight the financials, family ties, purpose of visit.

i am planning to keep purpose of visit simple, she is coming to visit her uncles, cousins, and granmother during her summerbreak and while she is here she will visit some of the destinations.

Save your money a lawyer will not have any impact. Send a succinct letter. Your sister and niece should indicate they will be paying for everything and attach proof of financials and ties. Good luck.
