Mistake in Study permit (Change for PR)

Hi Team,

I applied for my study permit in April 2023 and received my visa in May 2023. Unfortunately, my consultant made a mistake and forgot to upload my master's degree at the time. I'm not sure if it was intentional or an oversight, but they only included my bachelor's degree in my application. I recently realized this while reviewing my documents for PR. After speaking with a friend who went through the PR process, I was told that if I submit my master's degree now, it might be seen as misrepresentation.

I would like to know if there is a way to inform the Canadian Government about this mistake and update my education record to include my master's degree. This will help me proceed with my PR application without any issues.

You were awarded the study permit based on the fact that you didn’t have a masters degree so it is too late to correct the error. Assume your studies didn’t make sense based on the masters degree which is why it was not included. Next time you apply to any immigration program you can include the masters but you put yourself at risk of misrepresentation which could also have significant consequences.
