I'm also Iranian but living in Sweden since 2021.
The current processing time for Sweden is ~90 days and I've been waiting for +200 days and my eligibility is not even started yet.
I have another friend living in Germany (current processing time ~75 days) and he is waiting +250 days; and unfortunately in a similar situation.

Also applicant is from Iran who can automatically apply for work permit upon entry. So Iran is included in the wave of opening the doors.
I think this is the reason... I believe IRCC is postponing processing Iranian cases to prevent visitors from requesting for work-permits; which in understandable due to the immigration surge they are facing.

I'm just waiting for this (stupid) law to be over in Feb 2025. And probably we will get some answers then.
Let' see.

It’s far better for people to realize some people just won’t get a visa to visit

Seriously.
I see your point. But it's better to reject the cases than just keep their application open.
However, no one cares about the applicants at the immigration services of any country, including Canada.

So how are they personally threatening you. Get a lawyer with your evidence. You must be so scared and IRCC should not be threatening you with words of violence. Discuss with lawyer next steps.

Yes even for the person who just want to visit for 2 weeks to visit his family and get back without even think about staying here or changing the visa to work permit.
Their system has fundamental issue which cannot recognize who is right who is wrong.

Yes, you are absolutely right. The doors are open to hundreds of thousands of people who neither speak the language nor have any skills or experience, and they can come and eventually claim asylum, while we will pay taxes to support the increasing number of immigrants and then have to wait six months for a surgery or scan. Yet, one of my family members, who wants to visit for two weeks to see his cousin and brother and has no intention of staying, gets left behind. This illustrates why some people don't understand why they can't get a visa. It’s the system that decides, and that system is completely flawed and has no justification

Who is to say your family member has no intention of staying. You don’t know that or can guarantee it. Family member tell you that only staying for 2 weeks and then gets to Canada and applies for work permit.

In your posts, you are saying that IRCC is threatening you. That is a strong word so have evidence for it and discuss with your lawyer.

First of all, I did not say IRCC threatening me. I said they are looking for any type of excuses to reject the case. They are tendering very aggressive approach means in compare with 3 or 4 years ago they do everything to reject the case and it is normal in this situation. Nowadays due to their very wrong policies and procedures they are trying to reject as much as they can because they have noticed everything is out of control (Too late).
About your question about who is to say: Family Tie in both country, Old mother old father they need someone to take care of them, family business that needs someone to take care of that, The job letter, job history and government insurance for more than 20 years, no fake documents, enough funds on bank account and on top of all this I can guarantee.
Now I have a question for you: Can you guarantee that the only real eligible people who wants to visit their family can get the visa?
