Points Do not update after 24 hrs

Hi,

Has anyone else experienced their points get stuck for longer than 24 Hrs? I updated my profile on saturday to get points in 2 sections I knew and checked I should get points for. I checked online and double verified I had entered the right answers for all questions that would award me the full points for those 2 sections. I waited Sunday in case of maintenance and came to check today in the late evening to see if the system had picked it up but my total points remain unchanged.

What am I doing wrong?

What sections did you change?

hello,

Thank you for replying. I updated the Study Details and Job Details. For context I’ve been living in Canada for 9 years, working for a company in my STEM field for 1.5 years.

Completed and obtained a degree from a Canadian university: Yes

Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language course: No

Also, I recently updated my work permit to be a closed permit with my company I also changed the following questions.

Does your company name appear in the work permit: yes

Was an LMIA performed for the closed work permit?: No - it was an exempt case.

What points increase are you expecting. So you are on a LMIA exempt permit, and answered No. Why if you are on a closed work permit. If exempt, you will need a year of Canadian experience with the LMIA exemption to count the 50 points

I’m expecting 80 points. I know because I entered the same responses on the point calculator.
I was expecting the 50 points from the Job portion of Other points. And an additional of 30 from Canadian education.
It doesn’t match up to the calculator even though I’m entering the same answers.
I just checked right now and it’s still unchanged.

I think I should also add I was on my PGWP until Aug when I changed it to a closed work permit with my company.
I’ve already been working at my job for 1.5 years so I would expect the extra points from a job offer with closed work permit?
In addition to my education, which is also not showing up.

So is it a LMIA or LMIA exempt permit?
