I am a returning student and have an extended study permit, but I am still waiting for the TRV that I applied for from India. I did my medical exam 4 years ago, so I assumed that I wouldn't need to take it again since I had already given one the first time I applied. I am not going to be working in any of the industries that require a medical exam. I have also not lived in any other territory for more than 4 months. Is it normal for them to request a medical exam again, or is it a mistake?

I applied for TRV on 10th May and have been in India since 24th April.
Another month and you will have been there 6 months so take the medical. It may take another month to process it plus passport stamping which has been taking up to 30 days for some people. Why delay your TRV? Aren’t you missing classes?

I am booking a medical appointment first thing tomorrow morning. I was just curious, but you're right; I didn't think that if it took another month, then I would have passed the 6-month deadline. I'm doing classes online for now. Hoping I get my TRV soon
