Hi everyone! It has been a while since I last visited this forum. Please help. My in-laws who we sponsored 2022 finished their application and got their CoPR last May 2024. My question is us my husband who is the sponsor is changing address this month, and my in-laws are landing November do I need to inform IRCC for the new address or my in-laws would just need to inform the IO in Vancouver the change of address. Because the CoPR they have on hand would be our previous address come November. Anyone who had an experience with this. Thank you guys!

When they land, they update during the procedure the address they will be residing at - that's it. If that's the new address, then that one.

This is primarily important for them to receive the PR cards after landing.

Thank you so much for your reply. So I dont need to inform IRCC tru web inquiry. Just the IO they will be meeting in the landing office.

Yes, it will be a CBSA officer though. Do make sure they update if that is the address they expect to receive mail at. The officer should ask, but they should also double check.
