Renew CAQ they need proof of insurance coverage since arriving in Canada

Hello,
I arrived in Canada 6 months ago and deferred my program. I don't have insurance yet because I think insurance starts when the program begins.
Now I am trying to renew and they are asking for proof of insurance coverage since arriving in Canada. Does anyone have a solution or something like this?

How can you renew a CAQ if you have never studied. You don’t meet conditions. If you have been in Canada for 6 months and not even studied should you not be applying for new CAQ. Study permit is probably invalid if you haven’t studied

You also may be asked to prove that you have been living off your savings and not working. How did you enter Canada 6 months ago. Did you have an LOA to start in May?

Thank you for your response. To clarify, I have been in Canada since April, and I sent my permits to immigration for modification, but they were lost. As a result, I postponed my study program to September and applied for new permits, which I received recently. I am likely to start my study program soon. I did not violate any laws, but I was unaware of the insurance requirement, which is the basis of my inquiry. Of course, I have a letter of acceptance from an educational institution, and I have not changed it either.

Get insurance to renew and fulfil requirements to renew as outlined in the link. When does your CAQ expire?

You have to explain that in a letter to why you can renew CAQ without studying and why you didn’t get insurance. If CAQ expires August 2025 and you have approved study permits then what is the issue?

But your study permit is approved with approved amendments correct? You need to explain why you didn’t buy insurance when that is a condition of renewing the CAQ. You cannot get around this. The link tells you what you need to do to extend. So get an immigration lawyer to help draft a letter of explanation.

Why didn’t you just apply for new CAQ with insurance?

Okay so if the issue is the past 6 months then get a lawyer to help you. As I have said a couple of times, to renew a CAQ you need to show that you were studying and that you had insurance. So get help with drafting letter of explanation.

Not sure why you didn’t apply for a new CAQ but you cannot go back now. You have applied to renew and not sure you can ignore it. Again ask a lawyer. You cannot study until CAQ is approved.
