Hello friends ,
My boyfriend applied for the visitor visa about it got refused this Monday. .

reason was - funds not sufficient but he had 11k in his account

another reason that trip is not consistent. But he is just coming for 10 days and he is in university and he applied official leave from college with stamping and signatures and submitted his id frol
University and everything

I applied for gcms notes to get exact reason for refusal.
Has anyone applied for reconsider or
What do you think is the issue

he is 19 years old, had new funds 11k in different bank account and he has ties as he I studying .
he just wanted to come meet me as it is a long distance

Where is he from? Has he travelled international before and where?

He is from india and no he did not travel as he had his university and all
Very unlikely to get a visa. He has minimal ties to India and no travel history. If he indicated he wanted to visit his girlfriend even less of a chance since there will be increased concerns he will want to remain in Canada.

The refusal letter did not states no strong ties to back home
Only reason was finance .
and having a study is a form of commitment too as I have seen people getting visa for the boyfriend.

So how the people are going to meet ??? If someone can’t help please don’t say discouraging words .
thank you
Then you fly to see him

Are you a PR or on a work permit ?

What do want people to say ?
Everyone that applies , gets a visa ?
Everyone gets a gold star in school ?
No one loses in life ?
That’s not how it works

He has no travel history , young , new funds ( that’s a flag ) a university student and more than likely said they
were going to go meet someone they’ve never met before
And it’s a flag if it looks like that’s ALL the money they have and they are going to blow it all on their FIRST trip outside there country

People can just quit going to university and stay .
People do it all the time

Excuse whoever you are ???
i fly to see him everytime twice this year.
i have been sick he was supposed to come with my parents to see me .
and we have been in relationship for 2 years .

and if you can’t help and if you don’t know anything then shut the fuck up and no need to be rude

He is not loser to just stop his placement working for the Microsoft and come here and stay here where there is no employment.

Still doesn’t change that his profile is not strong and plenty with similar profiles have not returned home.

Guys - this is a forum to help people. If you can’t help, do some soul-searching if you’re posting here without helping anyone, to fulfill your lack of other meaningful relationships in life.

OP: There’re always going to be people who say mindless things. If it doesn’t help you, ignore it.
Also keep in mind these are not the IRCC immigration officer who rejected you application. So they might be right. You can’t argue with the office but you can show them more proof.
Consider attaching a detailed itinerary. Day 1: Go to place x. Day 2: visit y. Etc.
As for financial: 11k for 10 days is sufficient as per other posts on this forum (I read yesterday 10-12k for 3 weeks).
Nonetheless maybe the applicant can attach their parents financial info, and attach a signed affidavit saying they will and have supported him financial in the past.
maybe book a return flight and attach that. (I think Canada also allows 24 hrs free cancellation).
You said they have a job offer lined up? That’s an excellent reason to return. Consider attaching offer letter too.

Do not book any flights. It does not help your application and IRCC actually specifies you should not book a flight until you receive your TRV.

Well obviously not because they were refused

It’s a forum to guide people and NOT give them false hopes
People continually come on here telling people such as yourself that they’ll get approved
They won’t . Have you even bothered reading the news lately ?
The government is cracking down on visas being issued .
Couple countries have an extremely high rate of abusing their visa privileges
