Hi! I am a 20 year old med student in Morocco. I'd like to visit my really close friends that have all moved to Canada for studies next summer for two weeks and I don't know the exact dates (from june 2025 to september 2025). Is not knowing the exact dates bad? I mean being realistic once I have my visa which takes 6 months to process here I'll have more clarity in regards to when my schedule will be free because of my studies, and me visiting them is a 100% thing that will happen because I do have the money and once my friend's schedule is more clear at the beginning of 2025 I'll purchase the plane tickets.. should I explain all this in my application?

You don’t need to show exact dates but you need to show funds (cash in the bank), ties to return (tuition paid, registration, job with approved leave), travel history and valid reasons to travel.

How much are showing in personal bank statements? How long is visit?

Well my parents will be funding my trip of two weeks. So it doesn't need that much money I'd say 1500$ cad for the stay would be enough as i'll be staying at my friends' appartment and I would just stay in Montreal with them visiting the city.. nothing crazy. And airplane tickets aren't an issue either.
I do have their rental properties under my name too.
And my uni is a public faculty of medicine in Morocco, so it is free, and each year you re-enroll so I can only show them this year's enrollment even tho it is obvious you will enroll each year... I hope the IRCC agents are educated on the matters of the country they receive applications from

How old are you? If over 22, then you want to show your own funds. $1500 for two weeks is way too low. IRCC will want to see a lot more money because you need to show that you are not using all your savings. People are refused for showing $10k.

I am 20 years old. And 1500$ cannot be too low for two weeks I have asked my friends how much I'd need personally.. And 1500$ isn't the saving it's just the allowance I'd have. We're upper middle class in Morocco. People with lower incomes get approved here all the time.
