What is the actual processing time for work permit applications outside Canada under Global Telent Stream LMIA

Hi All,

Is there anyone who applied for LMIA and work permit under GTS. The processing time for LMIA is is supposed to be 2 weeks. The company applied the LMIA for me and got LMIA approved in 45 days.
Now the company lawyer applied for work permit( I have a spouse and a child as well). The work permit application is summitted for all of us (3 applications).

Canada website shows the work permit processing time is around 26 weeks, however under global talent stream it should be 2 weeks.

Is there anything who recently received the response for work permit application, what is the actual processing time ?

A small number of people get through in just a few weeks but the waiting time is months for most. Best to expected it will take months vs weeks.

Does it absolutely take 25 weeks as mentioned on Canada website ?

Probably not 25 weeks. Would add that WPs and applications may also be harder to obtain than they once were.
