haven't heard back from webform withdraw request

Hello,

I've sent webform requests to withdraw my role as sponsor due to marriage breakdown and no longer wanting to sponsor this person.

I've filled out the required blank texts, added a signed and written document stating the required info and reason for withdrawal.
I've added the submission receipt if needed for refund.

It has been two weeks and I haven't gotten any response back.

Does anyone know the process or the timeline for withdrawal processes?

It can take weeks, like 4, 6, 8 weeks for them to respond.

BUT: you don't need to worry, in that they will not finalize approval/landing for a spousal sponsorship if there are pending messages in the file (from webforms). As long as you indicated the file number and/or UCI#s they will get it to the right file and it won't be finalized.

[I assume that the applicant hasn't yet received the final landing docs etc or already landed, of course)]
