RPD referral without IRCC interview

May 5: Application submitted
May 9: Acknowledgement of claim
June 2: Medical passed
June 25: Confirmation of referral

No biometrics appointment or eligibility interview yet, means I still have the passport. I assume RPCD and work permit should be in the mail but this timeline seems a bit odd. Any thoughts?

IRCC portal still says "You will be provided with a decision shortly."

I also requested GCMS notes in case anything pops up.

Same happened to me recently, got confirmation of referral before fingerprints or eligibility interview,after fingerprinting and interview they just handed me same documents on ircc and RCPD and work permit. you will probably get your work permit and RCPD after interview.

I've heard that nowadays, they issue the Work Permit and Brown ID on the same day as the biometric appointment and passport seizure in Ontario. Which province are you from?
