Can I be eligible for International student stream

Hello everyone,


I’m seeking some advice. Can I apply to the International Student stream for job offers with one regular part-time job offer and one unscheduled part-time (casual) job offer? In other words, two jobs at two different places to meet the required hours. Or must it be from one job only? I work in healthcare. And neither job offer says it’s seasonal, temporary nor have a deadline to end.

And to clarify the unscheduled part-time doesn’t mention it’s causal in my job offer on paper. Just technically I don’t have a set schedule which leaves room for interpretation of it being casual.

Full-time means the job must be a minimum of 1,560 hours a year and a minimum of 30 hours of paid work per week.

Permanent means the job must have no end date (also known as an indeterminate duration). Job offers that are seasonal and/or contract based are ineligible.

Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly… I can apply using only one job, as long as the job offer letter states that it is a permanent full-time position, rather than using two part-time jobs that add up to 30 hours a week, even if both employers are willing to support my application and the two part-time jobs have no end date…. Just clarifying so I know how to plan accordingly.

One employer, one full-time permanent job offer Is required. So one needs to do that. The employer must read through OINP eligibility requirements and make sure the company is eligible. Have the employer read through job offer requirements as the job must meet the median wage for the NOC too.
