Spousal work permit with spouse having study permit

Hello All,

I wanted to apply for study permit for my wife for 2 year masters education after her bachelors (computer science engineering). Myself, i have lived in canada for some time. I initially came to canada on study permit and my post graduation work permit got refused due to some reasons. I.e, actaul says that i was entitled to study at one college for 1 year. Since my visa was more than an year i studied another college for another semister to get a 3 year work permit. But when applied for post graduation work permit, they said i studied the extra 4 month study without notifying. However, my student status was valid till half time of the course i.e, 2-3 months. When i extended my study permit before expiration it was granted. There after, i did multiple applications to restore my status, but eventually refused. I met a minister in ontario as final resort and understood that there is no scope for me. So after final refusal fron immigration. I.e, on december 2nd 2016, i booked my ticket back to india on feb 13, 2017. Now i got married and my wife is interested to pursue masters in canada. Will i get spousal work permit with this background i have? Please suggest. Thank you.

If she attended a publicly funded masters you would qualify to apply for an SOWP. It is always up to IRCC if you will be approved. If you have been married for a long period of time that would certainly help the situation.

Will my previous history in canada taken into consideration? Although, i do not have any criminal record or deportation order. Only thing is, i was refused to give restoration of status while i was in canada aswell as study permit both within canada and from india.
