BIOMETRIC COLLECTION LETTER DELAY

Hello Everyone,

I just applied for study permit in one profile together with my wife's SOWP yesterday. I received my biometric collection letter within hours and still have not received my wife's SOWP. Is it normal? How long should we wait for her until contacting to IRCC?

Normal. May take up to 3 weeks for some reason. You are taking a Masters program.

Does that mean I have to go give biometric first ? And does that mean we will not receive the decision for both visa ?

Most applications aren’t processed at the same time. You may get a decision before spouse. And spouse’s application follows SOWP processing times from the country you applied. You can raise a webform now.
