The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

After waiting so long rejecting with this reason.
Now I’m considering to do:-
-To re-apply my SOWP file & wait for decision.
- Apply tourist visa & apply SOWP inside Canada. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be appreciated. Thank you

SOWP for spouses of international students is not guaranteed. You can attempt to apply now since we don’t know if the new rules regarding SOwP are in place or when they will go into effect. You do not qualify for SOWP under new rules. How long have you been married and how much time did you spend in person together before your spouse went to Canada?

Hi,
I applied for SOWP from India on 6th March and my biometrics was done and updated on 12th March.
I did not do upfront medical before submitting my application and after biometrics I haven't received any request for medical exam.
I did fill the "Request for Medical Exam IMEE form".
Since it has been 6 months now, so I have 2 questions -
i) Can i get upfront medical exam now?
ii) Should i wait for the medical request or should I raise a webform?

Thanks in advance!
