EI (Post restoration)

Hi all, My PGWP was expiring in March 2024, I had my PR application in progress at that time so I applied for BOWP extension before March. But my extension was refused in June and I went out of status and my PR application was put on hold. Because of this I was laid off from work.

I applied for restoration and got my PR approved (received eCOPR) recently. I applied for EI as I'm unemployed and haven't found any job yet. My EI is under review, but I just wanted to ask if I would be eligible to receive EI? Do I need to provide them with some additional information?

I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this issue. Any kind of info would be great. :)
