PR card delay

Hi,
I got my eCOPR on May 13, and submitted my pr card application on the same day. i was then asked to resubmit my photo twice after that. my most recent photo was submitted 2 months ago, but I haven't heard from them since then. they tell me that its now in backlog, so that's why it takes longer. i need to travel for some family emergency. what should i do? can i cancel this pr card application and apply for another one?

You can apply for PRTD for your return trip to Canada or if you have US visa or able to travel through US, you can fly to US and cross the land border without a PR card. (eCOPR and passport and if you have proof of PR card application if any)
