Hello, I have just found through an acquaintance a company that wants to recruit me in Canada but they do not know how the procedure for recruiting foreign workers works so I would like if anyone can know how the procedure works from start to finish.

Hello, I have just found through an acquaintance a company that wants to recruit me in Canada but they do not know how the procedure for recruiting foreign workers works so I would like if anyone can know how the procedure works from start to finish.

They need to get an approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit. If they don't know how to do this, then they would be best off hiring a lawyer to help them. Make sure the job offer is not a scam.

The employer needs a LMIA and there are new LMIA rules so tell employer to read about the new requirements.
