Hello I am originally from Ethiopia and I am a refugee in Uganda it has been over a year since my sponsors have submitted application...but I haven't received any email from IRCC. Is this normal? Thanks.

Yes it can take years to process depending on the situation

Hello Canuck78 thanks for the reply ... don't they let me know if they have approved the sponsors application ....and shouldn't they at least send me a g number through email to keep track of my application or do they send it only to the sponsors?

May not have been processed yet. Are you in touch with your sponsors?

Yes I am but I think they are also waiting for the sponsorship application to be approved
