RPRF Payment & Receipt Upload

Hello Everyone,

I would really appreciate your help on this one as the email from IRCC asks for a response within 1 week.

I have an application in progress for sponsoring my parents. I submitted the application in November 2022 and it has been in progress ever since (Parents already gave biometrics for a visitor visa before).

On Friday I received an email from IRCC saying:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent residence. The admissibility review is currently in
process; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

At this time our records indicate that you have not paid the required Right of Permanent Residence Fee
(RPRF). You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be
paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your accompanying spouse or common
law partner, if applicable.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must upload a copy of your receipt to your MyCIC account.

Paying the RPRF is not an issue, however I have no idea where to upload the receipt to. I used the PR Portal to submit the application and when I login it just shows application submitted and I can only download the application. When I login to the IRCC account my parents use, I only see the previous visitor visa applications but nothing else.

Anyone had a similar experience/issue before? And what did you do in this situation to upload the RPRF receipt?

You need to submit it on the CIC website, by now you would’ve had to make a CIC login to see update so your file and not on the PR portal. You submit it through the submit option on CIC website.

Thanks for the quick response. I wasn't asked to create a CIC login at any step in the process, so do I just go create a new one or is there a specific way to show the application that is already in progress?

You wouldn’t have been asked but it’s there for you to do. When u submit the application I know it’s from a totally different site with the PR portal, but if u want immediate and fast updates u gotta create an IRCC login on the CIC website and link your application there. Once u link the application that’s where u can pay for and upload the receipt for the RPRF receipt that’s how I did it.

Hi @Amiah_world - thanks for the link. I had connected my parents PGP application as well, however, I cannot see any option to upload the document.

I went to submitted application or upload documents but there are no options to do so.

If anyone has a solution would be great to know. Thank you.
