Protected Person Study Permit

Hi everyone, I am found to be a protected person since last year. And my study permit has expired a month ago, I was admitted to a school so I am trying to apply for a new one.

In IRCC portal there is only one option that I can apply to study permit as Temporary resident. And it asks me when I will enter to Canada. I am already in Canada so I am confused a lot.
I've filled out the IMM5709e document but I am unable to submit it as there is no such option to submit it.

Is there anyone can help me with this? I am a bit stranded because my classes will start soon.

Sadly you are going to have to defer admission until you get a study permit.

Sadly you are going to have to defer admission until you get a study permit.

I just did that, So I chose my classes for this fall but I won't be attending. So dropped all the classes for now. Will see if I can get it by December.

Hey, I've talked with admissions today, They said they can defer it until next year but it'd be too late honestly. Another way is they can let me start me in winter thus I won't be attending any classes on fall term. Would that be okay?

It is up to you what you prefer but send an updated LOA to IRCC via webform.
