Winnipeg VO, Is there anything worse?

I am a CEC applicant, AOR March 1. I have been assigned to Winnipeg VO and have been waiting since April for background check to pass. All my friends that applied after me already have their PR card!

Is this Winnipeg VO special in any way? I do no have any previous visa refusals nor issues, why is it taking way longer than everybody else?

Unfortunately for everyone their VO is worst/super slow etc etc when their applications do not progress. You not having visa refusals doesnt not guarantee a faster processing. Also it is not wise to compare applications - each one of them is unique and assessed on individual merit. You need to be patient. Good luck !

Most likely you are in a comprehensive check. It doesn't depend on a VO.

Did you get any update? My AOR is 07 April 2024. (CEC Inland)

Eligibility - Recommended pass
Security - Not started

Primary VO - Winnipeg

They asked for my PCC ( even though I did not stay 6 months+ in that country). I submitted it last week and still waiting.
