PR Card Timeline - 2024

What is wait time from ecopr to PR card?? how long will it take for the photo to be approved ??

Usually 3 weeks to a month currently. Don’t know about photo, heard it would be in review forever even after receiving pr card. I’ve received my pr card and it seems like the case

you will only recieve the email if your photo did not approve after 30 to 60d days to send another photo.

Hi guys. I just received my Copr yesterday (Sep 03) but I will have to travel outside Canada on Oct 4. I know its kinda impossible for me to receieve the PR card within 1 month. But anyone has received the PR care within 30 days since the day we recieved Copr? Thank you.

I did. But it also depends where you live. They should send it within 25-28 days, but then it can take up to 2 weeks to be delivered depending on your location

Thank you for your reply. I live in Vancouver so not sure how long it will take them to process & send it out. I booked my vacation since Jan and don't want to cancel it last minute.

Yeah it can take longer to west coast. They send it from Sydney, NS. You can check other people's timelines in this thread

Hi guys,

I have got un update on my wife's PR card application, here are the latest dates:

1st email = June 14th, replied same day.

2nd email = July 2nd, replied the day after.

E-copr = July 9th, PR card applications ( me and the wife) attached the same day.

Final decision = July 24th, your application is in progress ( 1st GU update ).
PR card approved and mailed ( July 27th for me). Recieved it on July 31st (Montréal).
PR card approved and mailed (August 31st for the wife), finally the wait is over. Good luck to the rest of you.

@meloukistn Did u do something to receive update for your wife. Did u call or did webform.I am also waiting since july mid for my husbands pr card but no update.

Nope. I'm currently in the same issue. Got ecopr July 23 and still no PR card dispatched and need to travel because my mom is sick. Called them and told them their 26 day processing time as passed and they say they can't do anything.
