I received EOI from OINP in February 2024 and applied in March. After assessment they told me that I haven’t submitted my experience/reference letter for the job I claimed. The also told me to upload a job description with it. I have uploaded all the documents. On my experience certificate that my hospital provided there is only the dates and position I held is mentioned. And they gave a separate document for job description with has all the duties and responsibilities and working hours. The job description document doesn’t have my name because they give the same document to every employee. According to the document these duties and hours are affective from September 2021 through September 2024 and my job was between June 2022 and June 2023. And my employer is not giving me a reference letter which has the date of the job, position held, and duties mentioned in one letter. The OINP has asked me twice for this. Earlier I uploaded the job description document with it. But now they’re asking again for the same thing. And every time they ask that it can be any supporting documents. What should I do?

Is this your current job? Have you talked to employer about the format the reference letter is in? and they have said no? I am asking because I know that OINP required that your job offers mentions the NOC code (small town and having only canadian employees). My employer absolutely refused to do this but they included a letter explaining that they do not put noc codes. sometimes the format of the reference letter might be standard and to change it they might have to pass it through the board and stuff. Maybe your employer can do that for you as well.

Also, if the employer says absolutely no and you have correspondence of this, you can write an explanation letter and attach the correspondence as well.
