So on August 23rd, I got my PPR, and I'll submit it to VFS Delhi by 27, given it'll take around 14 days for stamping, and classes start on 3rd September,
I have avery legitimate reason though, under SDS it said I'll get my visa around June, i.e 21 days, but it took over 100 days for me,

I'll arrive a week late to my classes, what is my best course of action now,

my college is NAIT, Edmonton, there's no article anywhere, but they have said they'll accomodate 1 or 2 days

You should be contacting your school to determine whether you can arrive late or whether they want you to defer until January.

This is not a study permit issue but you need to ask your school the latest date you can start classes. If one or two days then you have to ask school to defer and issue new LOA.

Hello @Naturgrl

My sister applied for a Master's program that begins on September 4th. We received a request for passport submission today, but it's not feasible to submit it by the deadline, even if we send it tomorrow. We are considering deferring her admission to the January intake.

In this case, will we need to reapply for the study visa, or can we use the existing visa if the new intake date is within 150 days of the original start date?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

She will need a new LOA to update IRCC.

Talk to the school about deferring, get a new LOA and update your file via webform.

Thanks @canuck78 for your revert. We have the stamped visa now & we are now planning to travel in Dec second half for the course starting in Jan 1st week, my query is can my sister travel on the same stamped visa we got for September intake or do we need to file another visa for Jan intake ? If, we can travel do we need to inform anyone prior to our travel like IRCC or anyone else that we would be travelling on this visa for the Jan intake ?

Any advise/inputs on this would be really helpful for our planning,
