The government seems to be neglecting its responsibility to prioritize the employment of its own citizens. According to information obtained through an Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) request, they have issued 124,000 visas to individuals from various countries under the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) visa program. This decision has allowed foreign workers to fill positions that could have easily been occupied by Canadians. By doing so, the government is overlooking the potential of its own workforce, which could have seamlessly

overlooking the potential of its own workforce, which could have seamlessly filled these 100,000 jobs without any complications. This approach raises concerns about the government's commitment supporting and providing opportunities for its own citizens in the job market. let me put this way all jobs go one country most 95% to India what is it

So are you complaining about the increase in TFW or are you complaining about the country most workers are from? The ICT workers are usually high skill and high wage, it actually adds to the human capital for Canada compared to students attending diploma mills. Diploma mill graduates end up with PGWP and no real desirable skills which ultimately makes them compete for a minimum wage job. The govt is finally planning to cap it all though.

They are paid comparable or more based on skills. The only ones I've heard doing sketchy stuff are unskilled workers and their sketchy employers. It's a match made in heaven.

Honestly, focus on yourself and growing your skills. A good start would be to improve your language skills. Good luck.

Sadly not the case. Seen many get ICT but never actually work for the employer in Canada, ICT undercutting skilled worker salaries, etc. There are issues with all levels of WPs.

It’s extremely strange that this Government was focusing on foreigners to fill jobs versus within

There’s one thing I can do that a foreigner here can’t
